I purchased size XL based on the size chart and it was correct fit. This is a fine short dress to wear over leggings. I have gotten many compliments, even from 6th graders. It is not sheer, and fits well. I am 67, 5'5\" and a whopping 190 pounds, and it is flattering. If I were thinner, I'd wear it as a dress. The pockets are in the right place and hand-sized. If you want pockets, then this is the one you want.

This dress is cute and comfortable! It is not too short. It looks good enough for me to wear to work. Plus, it has POCKETS! I think that I will be able to wear this pretty much year round if I toss on a sweater & tights or leggings!
